We have more than 20 years experience in the avionics industry and specialize in designated engineering (DER) services related to software (RTCA/DO-178B) and complex electronic hardware (CEH) devices (RTCA/DO-254).
We have FAA authority to work all software criticality and hardware design assurance levels for Parts 21 (TSO), 23, 25, 27 and 29 programs. Over the past 6 years we have done significant work associated with the type certification (both the FAA and EASA) of aircraft utilizing Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) platforms (refer to RTCA/DO-297 and TSO c153) supplied by multiple vendors. As well we have served as management DERs for larger integration efforts on Part 25 aircraft.
In addition to DER services we provide consulting services for ground-based equipment (RTCA/DO-278) and provide training to address realistic and effective means of compliance for both RTCA/DO-178B and RTCA/DO-254.
